The Dickenson County Board of Supervisors is now accepting applications for a part- time Administrative Assistant position in the Rental Assistance Office. Applications may be obtained in the County Administrator’s office Monday thru Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Deadline for applications, resumes and references is Friday, August 19, 2022, at 12:00 noon.
Successful applicants must possess excellent computer skills; working knowledge of PC based software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel and Elite). The applicant must possess Excellent oral and written communication skills; the ability to provide excellent customer service to participants, landlords, coworkers, clients and vendors. Have the ability to learn County geography and learn agency goals, policies, and programs. Applicants must maintain confidentiality.
Excellent work ethic and the ability to be on time and punctual and have a valid Virginia Drivers License. Minimum of a High school diploma or GED equivalency required. The Dickenson County Board of Supervisors is an equal opportunity employer.
