The Dickenson County Board of Supervisors is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Mechanic in our Solid Waste Department. Applications may be obtained in the County Administrator’s office Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 and 4:30 pm, or on our website at www.dickensonva.org Deadline for applications is Friday, July 15th, 2022 at 4:00 pm
The applicant must have prior experience as a mechanic, have or be able to obtain a Class B CDL (Commercial Driver’s License), be able to lift fifty (50) pounds, pass a drug test and background check, have an excellent work ethic and ability to be on time and punctual. Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalency required.
