PUBLIC NOTICE

SURPLUS PROPERTY SALE

The County of Dickenson will be accepting SEALED BIDS on items deemed surplus property.   The listing of surplus property may be viewed on our website at dickensonva.org/surplus or a listing can be picked up at the County Administrator’s Office.

Surplus property items may be viewed in person at the Dickenson County Truck Shop, located at 309 DC Truck Shop Rd, Clintwood, VA on February 15^th – 18^th, February 22^nd – 25^th and February 28 – March 1^st between the hours of 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.

SEALED BIDS are to be delivered to the Office of the County Administrator or mailed to:

SEALED BIDS will be accepted no later than 4:00 pm, Tuesday, March 1, 2022

SEALED BIDS are to include:        Bidder Name and Address

                                                                Phone Number

                                                                Item Number of Property

                                                                Year / Make / Model / Description of Property

SEALED BIDS will be opened Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 10:00 am in the County Administrator’s office at the Dickenson Center for Education and Research, Clintwood, VA.  Payments are to be made in full and removal of surplus property must be completed within 15 days of successful bids.  

All items are being SOLD “AS IS” and the Dickenson County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to refuse ANY BID submitted.
