PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, pursuant to Sections 2.2-3701, 2.2-3707(0) of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended:
WHEREAS, the Cumberland Industrial Facilities Authority ("CIFA") is a Regional Industrial Facilities Authority created pursuant to Section 15.2--6400 et seq. of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, composed of representatives from Buchanan County, Russell County, and Tazewell County, Virginia;
WHEREAS, the progress of certain regional economic development projects requires that CIFA henceforth meet on a regular, consistent basis, which includes an immediate meeting upon the projects;
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 15.2--6402 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, CIFA desires to renew its request for membership to Dickenson County, Virginia, such that Dickenson County may become a partner in regional economic development projects;
NOW THEREFORE, Chairman of the Cumberland Industrial Facilities Authority, has requested that a Special Meeting of the Cumberland Industrial Facilities Authority be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 5:00 PM
