Voters of Dickenson County
Early Voting and Vote by Mail Information for November 2nd, 2021
Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General,
Member House of Delegates


We continue to encourage all registered voters to vote by mail in the upcoming General Election to be held November 2nd, 2021.  Apply online at https://www.elections.virginia.gov/ or call 276-926-1620.

1.  APPLY ONLINE using the Virginia Department of Elections secure Citizen Portal:https://www.elections.virginia.gov/casting-a-ballot/absentee-voting (in some instances you may not be able to submit your request online and will need the ability to print out an application).

2.  CALL or EMAIL the office at (276)926-1620 or email kdeel@dickensonva.org   

A Virginia Vote by Mail Application form will be mailed to you, which you can submit via:

            *Email to kdeel@dickensonva.org

            *Mail to  Voter Registration PO Box 1306 Clintwood, VA 24228

            * Fax to (276)302-0124

 

Ballots for the November Election will be mailed Friday, September 17th, 2021.

Please ensure you application is complete.  Applications missing required information may be denied.  Vote by Mail voters are also reminded to allow sufficient time to receive and return your voted ballot.  Do not delay in requesting or submitting your ballot.

We will begin in-person early voting on Friday, September 17th, 2021. Early voting will take place via drive-thru at the Dickenson Center for Education and Research at 818 Happy Valley Drive, Clintwood, VA 24228. Voting hours will be Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 4:30PM. In addition to these hours, drive thru voting will be available on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 8:30AM to 4:30PM and Saturday, October 30th, 2021 8:30AM to 5:00PM. 

IMPORTANT DEADLINES:

Tuesday, October 12th, 2021:  Last day to register to vote or update your address in order to vote in the November 2nd, 2021 General Election.  

 

Friday, October 22nd, 2021 by 5pm:  Last day to request an absentee ballot be mailed. 

 

Saturday, October 23rd, 2021: Open for early voting in person from 8:30AM to 4:30PM.

 

Saturday, October 30th, 2021:  Last day to vote early in person from 8:30AM to 5:00PM.
