The Dickenson County Board of Supervisors on July 28, 2020, in the second floor Conference Room at the Dickenson Center for Education and Research in Clintwood, Virginia will hold a PUBLIC HEARING at 5:30 p.m. to receive public comment concerning the amendment of the 2020-2021 fiscal year budget for Dickenson County, pursuant to §15.2-2507 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended. The proposed amendment is as follows: increase to Special Project Fund of $25,476,807 for receipt and disbursement of Corps of Engineers Section 202 funding to Dickenson County Public Schools for the elementary school project and demolition.

The Dickenson County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, in the second floor conference room at the Dickenson Center for Education and Research in Clintwood, Virginia will hold a PUBLIC HEARING at 5:55 p.m. to receive public comment concerning the amendment of the Ordinance for the Imposition of a Fee to Fund Courthouse Security, pursuant to Virginia Code Section 53.1-120. The proposed amendment would increase the fee from ten dollars to twenty dollars. A copy of the proposed Ordinance may be inspected and obtained in the County Administrator’s office at the Dickenson Center for Education and Research in Clintwood, Virginia.
