Due to construction of a new judicial facility, the Dickenson County General District Court and Dickenson General and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Combined Courts have temporarily relocated to the Dickenson Center for Education and Research in the Dickenson Co. Technology Park.
The Circuit Court Clerk's Office along with other county offices remain located in the Dickenson County Courthouse building on Main Street in Clintwood.
Parking and the entrance for court related functions are located behind the DCER. There is no access to the courts or associated offices through the front of the building.
